Maria Munoz is a Legal Resource Advocacy Consultant based out of Denver, Colorado serving the City & County of Denver including the Denver Metro area serving Adams, Arapahoe, and Jefferson Counties. Maria has an extensive decade long background in working with high-risk adults, children, and families within the non-profit and judicial legal system.

Most recently, as an Independent Legal Resource Advocate Contractor with The Colorado State Alternate Public Defense Counsel Maria worked directly with the legal team and social work team to identify, locate, and interview clients relevant to the case, and worked closely with attorneys to develop effective defense strategies. These experiences have equipped Maria with essential skills in legal advocacy, conflict resolution, and resource management.

With an emphasis on Legal Advocacy Maria's extensive experience in these roles has provided her with a solid foundation in legal advocacy, conflict resolution, risk assessment, and community outreach. Her dedication to supporting vulnerable populations and her commitment to criminal justice reform make her a compassionate yet assertive Legal Advocacy Consultant who strives to deliver optimal results.

What inspires me: I am inspired by the many men, women, and youth who I have met that have been impacted by the justice system. It is their stories, along with my own experience working within the system, that inspires me to help seek justice and equity for all people who are impacted by the system.
